Highway VR safety experience hall opens in Pingyao

The first highway virtual reality (VR) safety experience hall in North China's Shanxi province was opened in a highway service area in Pingyao county on June 16.

The VR hall was established to provide special safety experience classes for drivers and passengers passing the highway service area and to raise their awareness about travel safety. 

Through five major themed exhibition and experience areas, the hall uses VR facilities and technologies developed by Shanxi Transportation Research Institute Group Co and multimedia to present traffic safety knowledge and offer people immersive experiences in driving, so as to improve their safety awareness and improve the emergency response abilities of drivers and passengers.
