Pingyao two sessions of 2020 conclude

The 2020 Pingyao two sessions -- namely the fifth session of the 16th Pingyao County People's Congress and the fifth session of the 15th Pingyao County Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) -- recently concluded. 

A total of 187 political advisers attended the fifth session of the 15th CPPCC Pingyao County Committee, the top political advisory body in Pingyao on April 26-27. 

They performed their responsibilities of political consultations, democratic supervision and political participation and put forward suggestions on the overall work of Pingyao county's development and local people's concerns.

The fifth session of the 16th Pingyao County People's Congress held on April 27 and 28 was attended by 194 deputies. 

They reviewed socioeconomic development, government work and the financial budget implementation in the county in 2019 and planned these areas for the current year during the session.
