Pingyao firms, craftspeople shine at Shanxi cultural fair

More than 10 cultural companies and institutes and 13 craftspeople from Pingyao county took part in the 4th Shanxi Cultural Industries Fair, which opened in Taiyuan in Shanxi province on Dec 5, according to the organizers. 

Around 20 artworks from seven crafts categories -- including polished lacquerware and clay sculptures -- by exhibitors from the county went on display at the six-day fair. 

Through the artwork show, intangible cultural heritage performance and interactive experience events, Pingyao county’s culture and development achievements in the cultural sector are being shown to visitors.
