Pingyao international festival awards top photographers

The awards ceremony for the 2019 Pingyao International Photography Festival was staged in the Ancient City of Pingyao on Sept 21, according to the organizers, with a local taking home the top prize.
A total of 10 awards were given to 55 photographers from home and abroad at the ceremony.
Yunnan province-born photographer Long Jiang scooped the top prize – the jury prize -- for his works capturing climbing high-altitude snow mountains. He took home a cash bonus of 100,000 yuan ($12,799).
Taiwan resident, 81-year-old photographer Zhuang Ling, won the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contributions to cross-Straits photographic cultural exchanges and over 50 years of devotion to photography.
This year's festival attracted more than 4,100 photographers from 31 countries and regions with over 12,000 photographs on display at the week-long event.
