Sinochem helps boost agricultural development in Pingyao

The Sinochem Modern Agriculture Service Center officially started operating in Pingyao county, North China’s Shanxi province, on Sept 9.

The center is located in Ninggu town and aims to boost the development of the grain industrial chain in Pingyao.

A wide range of services will be provided to local farmers, including selecting seeds, preparing fertilizer, protecting crops, agricultural machinery, technological training, grain drying, storage and sales, agricultural financing, and diesel supplying.

The center will also promote modern agricultural technology in local demonstration farms, provide high-quality grain sources to processing companies, and recycle moist grains in order to connect peasant households with the modern agricultural industrial chain.

The center is part of the Modern Agriculture Platform (MAP) strategy being carried out by Sinochem Agriculture Co. The strategy is to offer comprehensive solutions to issues related to agricultural production and sales through the use of advanced technology and innovative ideas.
