Pingyao economy maintains growth in H1

Pingyao county maintained steady development in its industry and economy during the first half of 2019. 

During the period, the total industrial output value was 5.86 billion yuan ($852.16 million), a year-on-year increase of 12.1 percent.

The added value of industrial enterprises above designated size (those with annual revenue of 20 million yuan or more) reached 1.33 billion yuan, up 11.8 percent year on year.

The ratio of sales to production of industrial products in the period was 99.7 percent, representing a year-on-year growth of 0.4 percentage point. 

In addition, the county has introduced projects involving advanced manufacturing, new materials and electronic information sectors in the first half of the year to promote industrial transformation.
