Tourism festival livens up rural Pingyao

The fourth rural culture and tourism festival began on July 8 in Hengpo village, Pingyao county, on July 8. 

The festival was sponsored by a number of local government departments, the Pingyao Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and the Pingyao Staff Photographers Association. 

A variety of themed activities such as fruit picking, a lantern show, and Jinju Opera performances, are currently being offered in Hengpo village to promote tourism in the ancient village.
