Innovation, entrepreneurship contest concludes in Pingyao

The second Pingyao Rural Commercial Bank Cup Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition concluded in Pingyao county on June 12, according to the organizers. 

Throughout the preliminary heats, semi-finals and the finals, 10 teams took part in a city-level innovation and entrepreneurship competition in Jinzhong city on behalf of Pingyao county. 

The competition aimed to establish a talent demonstration, resource matchmaking and project incubation platform for startups, to further integrate entrepreneurship resources. 

In addition, the event aimed to help young people enhance their entrepreneurial abilities.

Officials said it also aimed to enhance their success rate, as well as hunt for and support entrepreneurial projects and teams that are in line with the development direction of Pingyao county – and that have the potential for technological innovation, rural revitalization, business model innovation and internet entrepreneurship.
