Pingyao hospital promotes healthy lifestyle

Pingyao People's Hospital in Pingyao county in central Shanxi province staged a health knowledge presentation and celebrated International Nurses Day on May 9, according to local officials. 

International Nurses Day, which falls on May 12 every year, was this year themed on "Nursing: The Balance of Mind, Body and Spirit". 

Nurses from the hospital demonstrated the cardiopulmonary resuscitation process for the participating residents and took participants' blood sugar and blood pressure levels for them, free of charge. 

This year marked the third year of the implementation of the "Healthy China 2030" plan. 

To improve local health care and health management levels, the hospital has established a special group to spread health concepts, health knowledge and the concept of a healthy lifestyle to the public.
