Taiwan youth delegation visits Pingyao

A delegation of student representatives from universities and colleges in Taiwan visited Pingyao county on Feb 13.

They were welcomed by Wang Jianlin, director of the united front work department of Jinzhong municipal committee of the CPC, who spoke of his hopes for the future, outlining his desire to see improved cross-Straits ties.

The majority of the visiting delegation members were either students or staff members at prestigious universities in Taiwan, with the visit marking their 18th trip to the Chinese mainland.
