Pingyao to advance animation sector

Government officials from Pingyao county met with representatives of the China Animation Comic Game Group on Dec 27 to discuss the integration of animation, tourism and technology.

According to a partnership agreement recently signed between Jinzhong city and China Animation Comic Game Group, animations reflecting local culture will be jointly created, integrating local culture and tourism resources as well as the company's advantages in brand recognition and technology. A holographic animation experience hall and other animation themed tourist attractions will also be developed.

In addition, the company will cooperate with the governments of Pingyao county and Jinzhong city on hosting the Pingyao International Animation Festival.
