Pingyao, Wuzhen to develop smart tourism

Pingyao county officials met with representatives of Jiaxing municipal financial services office and Wuzhen administrative committee to agree a path forward for developing smart tourism projects together, on Nov 19.

The two sides discussed developing a one-stop tourism platform for Wuzhen town, Zhejiang province and the Ancient City of Pingyao –– allowing tourists to access certain services, perhaps eventually offering hotel and tour booking.

In the future, they also plan to introduce smart tourism projects into Pingyao and Zhejiang, utilizing the internet to drive tourists to their respective areas.
