Los Santos delegation tours Pingyao

A delegation from the Los Santos Province in Panama visited the Ancient City of Pingyao, Shanxi province, on Nov 17.

The delegation led by Yina Smith de Barrios, governor of Los Santos Province, toured major local tourist attractions, praising rich local cultural and tourism resources.

The Los Santos Province government delegation is the first Panama delegation to visit Shanxi province since China and Panama established diplomatic relations in 2017.

Smith expressed hopes of cooperating with Shanxi province in environmental protection such as sewage and waste disposal, as well as the culture and education sectors.
