Overseas Chinese language teachers tour Pingyao

A group of Chinese teachers based overseas listen to an introduction by a guide at the Xietongqing Exchange Shop Museum in Pingyao, Nov 10. A delegation made up of 20 Chinese teachers from 10 countries, including Australia and the United States toured major attractions in and around the Ancient City of Pingyao, learning about the famous Shanxi merchants, as well as the beginnings of professional banking, with a thriving banknote exchange business once based in the city during ancient times.[Photo/pingyao.gov.cn]
