Pingyao government officials met a delegation from Provins in France, on Oct 1.
The two sides discussed the introduction of Provins falcons and French restaurants to Pingyao county during their meeting.
Pingyao and Provins became sister cities in 2005 and signed a memorandum of sister city cooperation in 2013. Since then, the two UNESCO World Heritage Sites have established partnerships in culture and tourism. It is expected that they will work together in more areas in the future.
