Guangxi photographer lauded by festival visitors

A photographer from Guangxi province wowed visitors to the recently held 18th Pingyao International Photography Festival (PIP), which concluded on Sept 25.

Sun Jin’s photographs of Pingyao at night and of visitors participating in last year’s photography festival were widely praised by those who viewed them at this year’s event.

People that have been to Pingyao can recognize the iconic landmarks in the photographs, while people that haven’t can still get a sense of the city’s beauty, he said, talking about his nighttime photographs of the city.

His other series of photographs were captured during the 2017 festival and shows the diverse crowd attending the event, which attracts many students and local residents, as well as professional photographers.
