Remote TCM outpatient service now available Pingyao

A remote outpatient service system for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) was launched in Pingyao on Aug 31.

Supported by Shanxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, it was donated by Zhongke Wanjia Technology Co. The system will greatly increase the quality of medical service in clinics and hospitals in Pingyao county.

The TCM remote outpatient service system connects provincial medical experts, doctors working at the grassroots level and patients through the internet, enabling patients to receive top medical treatment without traveling far and helping improve local doctors’ professional skills.

So far, six health center in local towns and 40 village clinics in the county have adopted the system. The system is expected to cover all people living below the poverty line in Pingyao by the end of 2018.
