Pingyao govt gears up for tai chi competition

A government meeting in preparation for the fourth China (Jinzhong) International Tai Chi Ball Competition was held in Pingyao on Aug 31.

The competition will take place in the county between Sept 13 and 17 with more than 820 competitors from 74 domestic and international teams attending. A tai chi ball exhibition will also be organized during the event to promote the traditional Chinese sport which integrates tai chi movements into a ball game.
