Pingyao signed four project agreements at an investment promotion event held on Aug 28.

The four projects, which involve total investment of 9.4 billion yuan ($1.38 billion), are a Pingyao culture and tourism commercial development project, a carbon-based soil nutrient project, an intelligent manufacturing base for steel, as well as a civil and Huiji River eco-corridor project.

Apart from the four projects signed at the event, Pingyao has introduced a further six projects so far this year, with investment reaching 22.76 billion yuan.
