A second session of the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program was held in Pingyao on July 7.
Sponsored by Shanxi Ecological Manor Economic Association and organized by Zhoushan campus of Zhejiang University, the training is designed to help improve the management abilities of entrepreneurs engaged in eco-farm ventures, which involve putting unused greenfield and brownfield sites to profitable use by converting them into modern farmland, tourist projects or woodland.
Cao Zengjie, a professor at China Academy of Art, discussed the work of building beautiful villages and revitalizing rural areas during the training program, encouraging trainees to contribute to the development of rural Shanxi using the new skills learnt during the program.
