4,439 students to sit gaokao in Pingyao

Pingyao will see 4,439 local students take part in the gaokao, the annual National College Entrance Exam, from June 7.

The exam will be held on June 7 and 8 at Pingyao High School, Pingyao Middle School and Pingyao Modern Engineering Technical School.

During the gaokao period, more than 200 vehicles from fleets of busses and taxis will send examinees to exam sites free of charge –– an initiative now in its twelfth year.
