CFHPC experts support hepatitis control in Pingyao

A group of liver disease experts from the Chinese Foundation for Hepatitis Prevention and Control (CFHPC) held a healthcare promotion event in Pingyao on May 27.

The 10 experts visited Pingyao People's Hospital and a hospital in nearby Gutao town to learn more about the current state of liver disease prevalence and treatment, as well as efforts to prevent mother-to-infant hepatitis B transmission.

The delegation revealed that CFHPC will offer support in funding, technology, equipment and training to facilitate the mother-infant hepatitis B transmission prevention project in Pingyao and help more patients.
