Jinzhong-Palace Museum culture exchange week planned

A work meeting for Jinzhong-Palace Museum culture exchange week was held in Pingyao county on March 21.

The event is scheduled to open in Pingyao on March 25. Sponsored by the Palace Museum and Jinzhong government, the culture exchange week aims to further partnerships between the Palace Museum and Jinzhong, as well as promote traditional Chinese culture.

The other phase of the culture exchange week will take place at the Palace Museum in Beijing from May 15 to 20.

Pingyao and the Palace Museum launched their partnership in September 2017, cooperating on the design, creation, and sale of cultural creative products, as well as tourism promotion and cultural interaction. The two sides have built a cultural brand named “Pingyao gift” to help boost local creative culture and the tourism industry.
