Myopia prevention forum held in Pingyao

A myopia prevention and control forum was held in Pingyao county on March 18.

Ophthalmologists from Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Shanxi Eye Hospital, and People’s Hospital of Jinzhong delivered lectures on treatment for nearsightedness (also known as myopia) in adults and young people, including prevention and control at the forum.

The experts also visited the surgery center of Pingyao Kangming Eye Hospital, exchanging experience on eye surgery to help relieve the pain of more patients with eye conditions.
