Pingyao Coal Chemical Group celebrates 60th anniversary

Pingyao Coal Chemical Group, a major coal business in Pingyao county, held a ceremony on March 5 to celebrate its 60th anniversary.

Initially a colliery founded in 1958, Pingyao Coal Chemical Group completed its stock system reform in 2002 and implemented a diverse mode of development based on the coal business from then on.

Through vigorous efforts and a comprehensive transformation over the past few years, the group has developed from a small colliery into a comprehensive company with important influence in Shanxi province, setting an example to coal companies in Shanxi in developing emerging industries.

Currently, Pingyao Coal Chemical Group's business spans over various fields, including the coal, new construction material manufacturing, logistics, real estate, finance and tourism sectors, with total assets amounting to 3.5 billion yuan ($552.85 million).
