Licheng delegation learns from Pingyao

A delegation from Licheng county visited Pingyao county on Feb 27, in order to learn from the city's experience in informationization and network construction.

The delegation went to the signal monitoring room for smart city networks in Pingyao Broadcast Station and Pingyao Information Command Center for Public Safety, learning of the operation of the Pingyao smart city project and public safety system.

Initiated in 2013, the smart city project, with an investment of 140 million yuan ($20.18 million), includes one public comprehensive platform and 24 software applications associated with government management, business information and everyday life.

The two sides will next further communication and partnerships in information technology.
