Culture forum held in Pingyao

The "Culture Forum" lecture series commenced at Pingyao Culture and Arts Center on Jan 20, marking the center's opening to the public.

Wang Nengjiang, a member of China Calligrapher Association, delivered a speech themed "calligraphy and life", commenting on calligraphy and the development of Chinese characteristics to calligraphy enthusiasts at the first lecture.

The event, sponsored by Pingyao culture bureau, will continue to invite figures from domestic cultural circles to lecture on aspects such as folk customs and etiquette, ancient architecture, intangible cultural heritage, literature and art.
