Pingyao gathers ideas for displaying cultural heritage

Pingyao bureau of culture held a seminar on exhibit collection and display of exhibits for local intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall on Dec 19.

Pingyao is a major region that features cultural protection and promotion in Jinzhong city. The intangible cultural heritage teaching and promotion institution and intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall will help pass down traditional folk craft to more generations.

Cultural departments of the Pingyao government hope that all craftspeople in the county can contribute ideas and artworks to the exhibition hall.

More than 100 craftspeople who are professionals in various intangible cultural heritage and representatives of related institutions attended the seminar.

The reconstruction of Pingyao Culture and Arts Center has now completed with the establishment of a exhibition hall specializing in displaying intangible cultural heritage artworks.
