Chinese chess championship concludes in Pingyao

A four-day Chinese chess championship concluded in Pingyao county on Oct 5, offering chess enthusiasts a chance to communicate and improve their skills.

The championship organized by Pingyao Sports Center consisted of individual and group competitions, attracting around 60 Chinese chess lovers from 10 different teams. Through nine rounds of competitions, eight people were awarded individual prizes, while group awards were given to six teams.

Also, famous Chinese chess player Liu Dahua was invited to give a lecture to the chess enthusiasts and communicate the skills and techniques of playing chess.
