Pingyao adds high-tech attraction for tourists

Government officials in Pingyao unveil the nameplate of the "Pingyao Fantasy Palace", a culture and arts venue based on virtual reality and 3D technologies, on May 19. Pingyao opened a new venue for culture and art called "Pingyao Fantasy Palace" on May 19 in an effort to attract more tourists to the county.

The venue, covering an area of 3,500 square meters, promotes the culture of Shanxi merchants, filial piety, and information about the Belt and Road Initiative using modern technologies, such as virtual reality and 3D technologies. Through interactive experiences, visitors can further their knowledge about local culture in a relaxed atmosphere.
