Experts discuss youth services in Pingyao

Pingyao launched a lecture themed around adolescent education and social work on March 12 to improve the professional skills of people engaged in social work with teenagers, and to upgrade local youth-oriented services.

The lecture, organized by the local committee of the Communist Youth League of China, invited experts on adolescent education to instruct attendees in how to help adolescents overcome problems.

Professor Tian Wansheng from the School of Social Work at China Youth University for Political Sciences introduced the psychological profile of typical teenagers, the mentality of contemporary adolescents and how psychological consultations can be targeted at teenagers during the lecture.

More than 210 people, including officials and teachers of local schools as well as organizations dealing with youth affairs, attended the event.
