Public bicycles go operational in Jinzhong

1,000 public bicycles were put into operation at 38 locations in Jinzhong, Shanxi province, beginning on July 1, after over half a year’s construction.

Jinzhong plans to equip the city with 10,000 public bicycles as well as supporting equipment with an investment of 150 million yuan ($24.18 million) over two years.

This project is a measure to relieve traffic and cut emissions in the city.
