Shanxi introduces foreign professionals from 13th CIEP

North China's Shanxi province has introduced over 50 overseas professionals from the 13th Conference on International Exchange of Professionals (CIEP) and already signed cooperation agreements with them, according to the province's department of human resources and social security on May 28.

At the two-day international conference in South China's Shenzhen, Shanxi's delegation communicated with more than 100 overseas professional organizations, enterprises, colleges and universities from over 20 countries. It also publicized 173 items in need of foreign professionals. More than 30 intentions to cooperate were reached between the province and foreign experts organizations, covering agriculture, environmental protection, medicines and equipment manufacturing.

The State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs funded the Conference on International Exchange of Professionals in 2001, approved by the State Council. This year's conference has attracted 4,200 foreign professionals organizations, enterprises, colleges and universities from 72 countries and regions.
