Pingyao ancient city promises credible tourism price

The Ancient City of Pingyao in North China's Shanxi province was in the first group of national tourism spots with a credible price system, according to the National Tourism Administration on May 25.

The construction of scenic spots with credible prices was an initiative of the National Tourism Administration beginning this year. Scenic spots included in this project have signed letter of commitment with the tourism administration on six hot issues, including all-in-one tickets, no price fraud, publishing of price structure and no price rises for three years.

To date, 1,801 tourism spots from 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities have taken part in the project, 27 of them in Shanxi province.
