Science and technology week kicks off in Shanxi

Shanxi province opened the 2015 Science and Technology Week in Taiyuan, on May 16.

This year's sciences and techology week highlighted creativity and entrepreneurship. From May 16 to 24, it will organize 40 activities to illustrate the province's achievements of science and technology.

Forty-eight labs and 57 science centers will open to the public.

Science and technology week was initiated in 2001, is now an influential and popular event among locals.
