Pingyao carries out inspections on food safety

Wang Dongguang, vice head of Pingyao county, Shanxi province, inspected the county's food safety in farm product's markets and supermarkets on Feb,13, as the Spring Festival is approaching.

Wang urged local food producers to take their responsibilities in food safety. Also, the Food and Drug Administration should carry out supervisions from time to time and apply appropriate punishments to those who break the law, to ensure food safety from the very beginning.
