Antique guesthouse sees growing popularity with Pingyao visitors

Old Pingyao county, in Shanxi province has turned some of its quadrangular courtyards, or siheyuan, and old residences from the Ming (1368－1644) and Qing (1636—1912) dynasties, into guesthouses to attract more tourists. These architecturally attractive guesthouses provide a new scenic spot, with a combination of antique and classical flavor and also modern facilities, and the number of tourists interested in this kind of hotel is growing, according to Xinhua News.
