Antique guesthouse sees growing popularity with Pingyao visitors

Old Pingyao county, in Shanxi province has turned some of its quadrangular courtyards, or siheyuan, and old residences from the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1636—1912) dynasties, into guesthouses to attract more tourists. These architecturally attractive guesthouses provide a new scenic spot, with a combination of antique and classical flavor and also modern facilities, and the number of tourists interested in this kind of hotel is growing, according to Xinhua News.
