Shanxi opens world health conference

The promotional eventfor the province of Shanxi's health industries and international health exchanges brought health professionals from all-around the world together on Oct 24 -26, in Taiyuan, the province's capital city, on hand to discuss their thoughts on health and the well-being of humans.

The conference attracted many renowned health academicians, including the 2013 Noble prize winner in Physiology, Thomas Südhof, and health practitioners from home and abroad.

The meeting was organized by the State Administration of Foreign Experts affairs (SAFEA), China National Center for Women and Children Health, and the Shanxi children's hospital.
