CCTV documents Pingyao's ecological improvement

Geographic Science, a TV program made by China Central Television channel 10, is shooting one episode in Duancun village of Pingyao county, Shanxi province. The program wants to show the county's vegetation recovery in local forests, its ecological improvement, its increasing variety of species, and its landscape changes.

The program photographed many ecological farms in the county and interviewed local villagers about their experiences in ecological improvement. They invited laboratory technicians to test the water quality and asked geologists to carry out comprehensive assessments of the county's geological conditions, providing evidence of huge ecological improvements in Pingyao.
