Pingyao embarks on International Photographic Expo

The 2014 Pingyao International Photographic Expo will open on September 19 in Pingyao, Shanxi province. Currently, all the work has entered its countdown stage and Pingyao is making efforts to improve its service during the Expo, Jinzhong Daily reported.

Firstly, Pingyao is working to increase its environmental carrying capacity; and, so far, it has carried out more than 70 construction projects to enhance city functions. Meanwhile, it is improving city management and maintenance to promote its image.

Secondly, Pingyao is focusing on higher service levels. With an improved infrastructure and public transportation, Pingyao will reduce pressure on tourist destinations and make progress towards good order.

Finally, Pingyao is paying attention to its organization and leadership skills. Thanks to the decentralization of the Expo committee, the Expo attracted related cultural institutes and local photographers to organize the 2014 Expo, in order to improve work efficiency and coordination, and to keep the Expo running smoothly.
