Pingyao programs join Shanxi cultural heritage list

A new group of Pingyao county projects are on the most recent Shanxi provincial cultural heritage list -- five in all -- bringing the total number of Pingyao programs of this kind to 16.

The five programs involve a Pingyao painted sculpture of the Pingyao Zhuofan Painted Sculpture Manufacturing Center, traditional smoked pork hocks of the Yanhu Meat Co, Yang Family Traditional Chinese Medicine therapy of the Yang Fuxing Clinic, anti-diarrhea of the Deng Zhaoquan Clinic, and the Pingyao ancient lantern of the Pingyao Light Research Institute.
