Special Pingyao documentary on its way

The China's Travel Channel is set to begin shooting a half-hour documentary in the old town of Pingyao, Shanxi province, in about five days, with the focus on preservation, tourism development, and cultural heritage, as part of a larger "Landscape of China" program, which will broadcast at prime time, on Nov. 2.
