Pingyao optimizes local taxation environment

The Pingyao local taxation bureau has strengthened its enforcement to optimize its taxation environment this year.

The bureau asked its officials to inform taxpayers of the conditions, process and timeline for paying taxes timely, accepting all kinds of administrative licenses, examinations and approvals applied by taxpayers and handling all tax-related matters on time.

The bureau also forbids its officials to abuse power for personal gain, encroaching on taxpayer property, taking bribes, collecting money and forcing taxpayers to subscribe to newspapers.
