Pingyao shortlisted for “Most Desirable Chinese Places” list

The selection process for this year’s “Most Desirable Chinese Places”, by the China Tourism TV Association and Beijing TV has been going on and the ancient town of Pingyao, with its culture and innovative development, is one of the 60 finalists.

The selection method involves an application process, network and TV displays, media interviews, and a review, with the winners to be announced at the end of November. There will be nearly 30 TV stations and various media following it closely, such as CCTV, Sina, Sohu, and Tencent, which will, of course, give Pingyao’s even greater publicity.
