Pingyao improving safety work

The tourism bureau of Pingyao county is working hard to eliminate hidden dangers and ensure the property and safety of its tourists during the rainy and peak season, with travel agencies being asked to take weather conditions into consideration and plan proper travel routes and chartering licensed coaches.

The managers of scenic areas are also being asked to increase their inspections and patrols for proper maintenance and repair work at accident-prone sites and to put up warning signs if necessary. Star-rated inns and hotels are also being asked to draw up emergency plans and to store goods and materials in case of emergencies.
