Pingyao increasing urban landscaping

The government of Pingyao county, Shanxi province, is campaigning to improve its urban landscaping to become a province-level model county of gardens and woods, with help from various government offices in both landscaping and greening, as well as all other sectors of society to improve the quality of life and urban taste.

The ultimate goal is 4,600,700 square meters of green, with 38-percent green coverage, 33.93-percent green space, and 11 square meters of green space per capita by the end of the year.
