Pingyao Micro Film Festival opens in September

The 1st Pingyao Micro Film Festival is scheduled to open, Sept 19, in Pingyao county, Shanxi province, with a ‘Guardian of Love’ theme.

The festival is expected to encourage contemporary film and television artists to discover love and dreams in daily life and to send out positive energy to the world, via this latest visual form, and as a way to realize the Chinese dream and follow a social mission of guarding love.

This mini festival would like to become an oriental Cannes Film Festival, so it has government agencies, academic institutions, industry associations, TV stations and network media involved and includes a micro film carnival, summit forum, interactive exhibition, and best film competition.
