Pingyao highlights protection of ancient residences

The local housing management department organized a special training for relevant workers to increase the protection of ancient residences during rainy season in Pingyao county, North China’s Shanxi province.

Experts of ancient residence protection were invited to give speeches about the historic and architectural value of the old houses, their structure and appraisal, protection measures and how to detect dangers early.

Safety inspectors and workers responsible for maintenance and repair all attended the training and were asked to increase patrols of ancient residences so as to screen hidden dangers in time.
