Meeting provides update on Pingyao International Photography Exhibition

A report-back meeting in preparation for the 2013 Pingyao International Photography Exhibition opened in Pingyao county, Shanxi province, on May 30.

The 2013 Pingyao International Photography Exhibition will be held from September 19 to 25 around the theme “Life Photos”.

The organizers gave reports on exhibition hall decoration, opening ceremony plans, calligraphy and paintings displays, service work and other items. Participants also expressed their views and suggestions on how to improve the fair.

Zhang Wenyuan, the president of the political consultative conference of Pinyao, and Liu Guohong, member of the standing committee of the county Party committee and minister of publicity of Pinyao, attended the meeting.

Liu Hongguo said this year’s exhibition should feature the common efforts of the government and market and enhance the exhibition’s brand influence.

Zhang Wenyuan called on the participants to work harder to enhance standards, reduce costs and expand influence. He also expressed his desire to make progress in improving exhibition hall decoration, photo selection and money conservation.
