The city of Datong started this year's China (Datong) Yungang Culture and Tourism Festival, the night of Aug 8, getting everything in place for the opening ceremony, Datong Evening News reported on August 8.
An investment promotion at the recent 2nd China (Jincheng) Taihang Mountain International Cultural Tourism Festival, in the city of Jincheng, Shanxi province, saw several dozen agreements signed involving 80.2 billion yuan ($13.1 billion) in investment.
The first Chuama Music Festival opened in Jincheng, Shanxi province, on July 17, with around 10 local bands, composed of young people, and 10,000 music lovers taking part in the carnival atmosphere.
